True to the tradition of the American dream, Symmco began as a small business operating out of a Sykesville, PA garage back in 1952 and grew to be a leader in the powder metal (P/M) manufacturing industry. Its dedication to quality in the fabrication of plain-to-complex P/M parts has proved instrumental in expanding a business from a garage operation to an international company with a production facility of almost 100,000 square feet.
Symmco's reputation for quality and service was built by concentrating on customers requiring short to medium volume runs. Although Symmco is the "short run specialist" in the powder metal market, we pride ourselves on our long run capabilities as well.
